1971 Mustang Mach 1 429 SCJ 2x4 Ram Air with Factory Drag Pac

It was built in a way (hydraulic lifters) that requires less maintenance than the stock engine. Only thing you have to do is change the oil and run high octane fuel with extra booster. Solid lifter (not reconditioned) and valve cover oilers go with this car ( this auction Only).
4 Speed Top Loader by David Kee *NEW*
Brand New David Kee 4 speed Top Loader to match car, Close Ratio with New Hurst shifter.
True "Complete" Factory Drag Pac
3.91 Traction-Lok, "N" case rear end, CR 4 Speed, Complete Oil Cooler system, SCJ Heads and correct HV Fuel Pump and distributor.
Interior
All new upholstery, new carpet, new headliner, new door panels, new dash pad, new dash panels, new white face gauges with new LED dash lighting, you get the idea, new interior. I did notice the clock doesn't keep time. We did not put in the shoulder seat belts mounted to roof, who really used 'em..... http://www.pentagonpaintball.com/Interior.htm
Body & body work
Rotisserie restoration. http://www.pentagonpaintball.com/TheRottiserie.htm If there was rust, it was dust. We cut or ground anything that was close to or resembled rust. Black base coat / clear coat paint was applied at Watson's Body Shop of Fairview.
Marti Report
This car does come with a Marti Report. Please view our web page for all the details. http://www.pentagonpaintball.com/MartiReport.htm
Suspension Upgrades
Heavy duty sway bars front (1 1/8") and back (7/8"), stainless steel brake lines and stainless steel braid hoses installed, Mach 1 staggered shocks (standard) and anti-hop shocks were installed in the rear (cobra inspired), Chrome AR rims with locks and New Tires.
Other details
The car also came with factory power brakes and power steering. If you were to ask what I would change, it would be molding around the windows. It's shinny but not striaght. Please look at the close up of the side rear window molding. It is damage and I haven't been able to locate better molding. We also put in roll down back windows (not standard on this car) because the car looks a lot cooler with all the windows down. One piece of the trim just got a dent in it the other day. Don't worry, the dentie was given a slow painful death. Otherwise it's all good. http://www.pentagonpaintball.com/Stats.htm
Notes
This car is NOT a Concourse car, BUT it's got numerous concourse approved parts. Nor is it 100% original. It has been completely restored. This was going to be the show piece for our restoration business but we have decided that it's to risky to start a business this day and age. We'll be restoring trucks from this point out. I believe this car could easily win local and regional shows. I will not end this auction early. It's an auction, don't bid if you're not serious.
Shipping
We are willing to drive up to 1000 miles round trip. We only have an open trailer. If we get the Buy it Know price, I will purchase an enclosed trailer. Buyer pays all our expenses both ways. We don't sleep in roach motels, We eat Steak for Breakfast and we stop when my wife says so or I see a winery. If buyer chooses to use a carrier we will assist with loading. We have a parking lot and turn around for big trucks. Buyer is responsible for making all shipping arrangements.
Payment
$1500.00 non refundable Pay Pal deposit is require in 24 hours. Full payment is expected in 3 business days. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of deposit and car will be re-sold. We prefer cash but wire transfer is a lot safer and is acceptable. Any form of any check will be held for 2 weeks for security clearance.
