| | This is my personal vehicle. 1989 Mustang LX 5.0, 5 speed convertible with 88k original miles. Click on the CARFAX report for more details. Car has always been garaged and covered. Almost perfect black paint and body, black top with a grey and black leather interior. Every option available including the 5 speed transmission. I bleed FORD BLUE and would like to sell this to someone who appreciates what this is. Mods are few and are as follows: K&N air filter inside the stock air box. Headers updated to GT40 shorties, with borla mufflers for a nice sound. Trans has a King Cobra pressure plate and clutch. 8.8 rear end was completely rebulit and upgraded with alloy axles and Ford Motorsport 3:73 gears replacing the original 3:08. All lubricating oils on this car are high performance synthetic. BBK sub frame connectors tie the body together for a uniform fit and finish along with a firmer contact patch for the tires. 10 holes rims have been upgraded to 16 inch Ponie wheels. Original owners manual and boot bag with convertible top cover is with the car. I am the third owner and have been able to only drive it approximately 1k in the past year. The top does not leak to my knowledge but is beginning to fray in places. I have only driven this car with the top down on beautiful Florida winter days when you can appreciate great top down weather and a V8/5 speed Mustang. The 1989 model was the last year you could get a tilt wheel in a Fox body Mustang, and the first year for mass air under the hood. I am probably leaving some details out, but that is a pretty fair overview of the car. No, its not perfect, just a nice driver that has been enjoyed and cared for by three owners since new. You can find GT models all day, but these LX Mustangs are getter harder to find all the time. I am only selling the Mustang in order to raise capital for a business venture, so please, no trades.
