I am selling my 1987 mustang lx. This project started out in a 1988 mustang GT and I swapped everything over to a clean LX chassis this past year. Car is clean and straight with a clear title in hand and 95,xxx miles. I just started my own business and need to cut down on some of my hobby’s. I will list a rundown of the car below, however, please feel free to contact me for more pictures and information.
MOTOR/TRANSMISSION/REAR:
- Rebuilt motor with about 85,000 miles.
- Stock cam
- Trickflow twisted wedge aluminum heads.
- 1.7 trickflow roller rockers.
- New oil pump and pickup
- Holley systemax upper and lower intake
- 75mm Accufab throttle body
- Stock rebuilt T5 transmission (35,000 miles)

- king cobra clutch (less than 10,000 miles)
- Aluminum driveshaft
- Rear is a POSI 8.8 3.27 gear with FMS rear end girdle.
- 3 row radiator.
- Hardened pushrods
- Hardened oil pump driveshaft

- Transmission, motor, and rearend fluid changed less than 100 miles ago.
TURBO:

- Masterpower T70 turbo, .68 exhaust housing 10lb spring

- 80mm PRO-M meter calibrated for 42lb injectors.

- Rear tires are Mickey Thompson ET street radials with less than 600 miles and no drag launches.

- New Front brake lines and fluid less than 100 miles ago.
INTERIOR/GAUGES:
- Grey and black stock interior.
- Battery located in the rear.
- Autometer ultralite gauges (boost, water temp. and fuel pressure.)

BODY:
The body on the car is stock and the paint is stock as well. There is no rot on the chassis, however, the hatch has some rust, and the doors have some rust.
I just had the car aligned and it drives straight and solid.
The computer chip has a base tune in it which was programmed by Mike at DEZ racing in Seekonk MA last summer, however, this was before the drivetrain and electronics were swapped from my 88gt, and I would advise the buyer to have the car re-tuned.
I have never taken it to the track, and probably drove it less than 500 miles this year around town but I have new priorities. Clean title in hand and you can run a Carfax to see that I am the third owner, and that the car has never been in an accident.
