Vehicle Listing Description

I have a 1966 Mustang GT coupe for sale. It is in very nice shape and drives well. Since being restored 7-9 years ago she has held up well and gets positive comments everywhere I take her. The Wimbledon White paint shines up very nicely and the Black vinyl top looks nearly new. The Interior is original and in excellent shape as you can see from the pics. It has a deluxe Pony interior that is 2-tone Ivy/White. The only thing the interior could use is a headliner, but only because it has a small tear in the rear corner on the passenger side. It looks and drives great. I get thumbs up and positive comments every time I take her out.

The Mustang is an original A-Code (4bbl) and an ORIGINAL GT. It has an aftermarket Holley carb on it and the engine runs smooth as a kitten. Air cleaner, Valve covers and support brace are all chrome. I have the original valve covers and air cleaner cover as well.

It has newer dual exhaust. The original louvered tips are not installed however I do have them. The fog lights are original FOMOCO. Most of the emblems / gas cap are newer or aftermarket

It is a 3-speed manual car with AC. The AC is not Ford but R.E. Michaels and looks to be vintage for the era. I just used it last week and it blows cold however a recharge would be recommended. 3 speed GTs are rare, as most were 4-speeds or automatics. Also real GTs are hard to find. Only 3% of 1966 Mustangs were GTs. See identifying details below.

P10 code on the buc tag
FMOCO fog lights, not re-productions
The rear quarters have never been drilled for the emblem (in the cove)
o Drivers side has been replaced, but this can be verified on the passenger side.
Disc breaks on front with the larger master cylinder.
In the rear frame where the exhaust hanger is, there is a stiffener bracket on the frame that was put in at the factory. If you stick your finger into the hole where the bracket is you can feel it.
Original fog light switch and it is in the proper location.
Deluxe interior
13/16 diameter front chassis stiffener. None GTs were smaller.

The engine compartment is very clean. The radiator support and all of the firewall and fender panels are in great shape.

Overall the glass and chrome are in good shape. Minor pitting is there on some pieces but easily fixable by replacement or re=chroming. The window tracks have been rebuilt so the windows roll up and down easily.

BRAND NEW TIRES all the way around, BF Goodrich Ratial TAs with the raised white letters. Really look great on this car! The U joints were just replaced and front breaks serviced.

This is a GREAT driver car and looks really good. She runs GREAT and handles well. The steering is tight with no play. The steering box was replaced at some point in her history.

Summer is here and this car is will give you plenty of fun filled cruise nights or weekend trips. Dont buy this car if you dont want a lot of attention. Keep her as she sits and cruise the summer away or make her a show car.

NADA has this car GT, 289/225 HP, AC and Pony Interior valued as follows
